What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for Direct to Film. Your design is printed onto a special film, coated with a hot-melt adhesive powder, and then heat-pressed directly onto your garment. The result is a soft, flexible transfer that bonds permanently to the fabric resistant to washing, stretching, and everyday wear.
There’s no screen setup, no color limits, and no minimum quantity. Whether you need 1 piece or 500, the process is the same and the quality is consistent.
How it works Step by Step
Print on film
Your artwork is printed in full color onto special PET film using DTF inks.
Apply adhesive powder
Hot-melt powder is applied over the wet ink, then cured in an oven.
Heat press to garment
The film is pressed onto your item at the correct temperature and pressure.
Peel and finish
The film peels away, leaving a clean, vibrant, durable print.

Send your artwork
Email your file to sales@aaronsdesigns.com or drop it off at our shop. We'll check it's print-ready and send a mockup for your approval.

We print with precision
Once you approve the proof and the deposit is made, we get to work. Most orders are ready in 3–7 business days. Rush orders available with a 25% fee.

Pick up or delivery
Collect your order from our shop at 132 S. State Hwy 342, Red Oak, TX 75154 or have it delivered to your door.

Frequently Asked Questions
How durable is a DTF print?
DTF prints are wash-resistant, stretch-resistant, and hold their color through regular use. Wash inside-out in cold water and tumble dry low for the longest life. Learn more: Gildan’s garment care guide .
Can I bring my own garment to print on?
Yes. Bring in your own tote bags or garments and our team will check the fabric compatibility. Most cotton, polyester, and blend fabrics work well with DTF.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required once your artwork is approved before we begin production. We’ll walk you through payment details when you place your order.
Can I see a proof before you print?
Absolutely. We send a digital mockup for your approval before anything goes into production. You can request revisions until you’re completely happy with how it looks.
What's the maximum print size?
We can print up to a standard full-front or full-back size. Contact us with your garment type and we’ll confirm the best dimensions.
